Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon visited Samsung Electronics' headquarters in Suwon on Thursday and talked about the world's first commercialization of 5G services, which the company is set to launch in March.
During the visit, he met with Samsung chief Lee Jae-yong and thanked the company for leading the way in pioneering 5G technologies, and for its investment in the mobile sector.
Lee also praised the company for creating jobs, and for its record semiconductor exports last year.
